I tend to leaving my drive way due to idiots driving well above the posted speed. But I'd rather not. The car I did it with was an E36 332is and it seemed to break traction no matter how I left the driveway. Fun yes sideways to start the morning but me and my neighbors grew tired of it. Except one with the tubbed 56 chevy p/u with the 671 blower that sticks through the imaginary hood.

    He's always sideways leaving.

Stuff gets torn up fast in an old BMW automatic leave that for the 60-70's muscle cars, oops they are long gone for high school kids. They sure were fun.

I used to do bhrnouts all the time. Then I got pulled over for it. Got a stern warning for it but no ticket thankfully. I don't do them hardly ever anymore as my clutch is getting wore out and tires are fucking expensive.

    +1.

And yes i do enjoy a good old burnout. I tend not to do much any more since the price of tires are higher then they use to be in the past.

If it is wet outside I tend to fishtail a bit now and then. Never in the dry, I do spin sometimes when I launch at SCCA.

But no, my tires cost too much to act like a kid.

    Agreed, this I enjoy.

Burnouts are not a good measure of sense. It's all about the context with which said burnout occurs.

Nope. I leave the burnouts for the E36 guys.

Seen a few E36 M3's with the rear strut towers TORN apart! They (BMW) sells the portion of the top of the strut tower for that application!

    Not with my RS3's on.

Bottlecaps? All day long, but then again I have my own shop if I break an axle....

I do very occasionally, but not for more than a second or two. Don't see the appeal in wasting money while simultaneously going nowhere.
