replace back seat with roll cage?

I'm sorry, but you guys who say you fit your friends in the back of an e30, they must be midgets!!! My friends aren't fat by any means nor are they that tall. But having to sit at an angle in the back seat and head almost in the roof plus with my knees in the dash, It's not that comfortable of a car to pile your friends in and go places. I've seen more room in Ford Festivas...!

Leave the seats if your not doing any kind of track driving and arent going to be running harnesses and fixed back seats. Theres plenty of room in the back of an e30 unless your friends are all obese.

Actually PVC cages work very well, check out the thread some good info

PVC is really the way to go, very lightweight.

They flex with the car too, therefore reducing cracking of the cage. Also keeps the car together. Go over too bumpy of a road with too stiff of a car and you run the risk of ripping the car apart at the cage mounting points.

Dude just build the rollbar yourself, it very easy. Just go down to Home Depot and get some PVC.. there is a DIY on R3v somewhere.

make sure to get the weld-in cage, bolt-in cages are not as safe and if you are going to get a cage you might as well make it as safe as possible.
