I'll test the battery, the previous owner didn't do much to the car but put gas in it I'm sure and he had it for about a year, he bought it from original owner and I have all of his service records, from about 2000, passed smog up to 2010 on first pass, going to fix all the stuff and smog it. What he said is the fuse for the gauges blows every time, he puts one in, so he would stick a wire in for a sec to see how much gas he had lol.

Thanks guy's (enjoy all the reading lol) this is a project got lots off plans, somebody asked why (Cause Race Car) well I like the quote, and had to think of a user name lol, the car won't be over board like my e46 (rims where $600 with tires from an old friend). Yes it's burgundrot and 2dr with 5sp,original paint, car needs some work, have a oil leak hoping its just valve cover gasket that's easy, and there is a short somewhere and the gauges don't work, like speedo, rpm, fuel and temp etc, heck this car is as old as me (26, just 2 months older according to real oem lol) needs new driver and passenger seat, little tears and a new dash as most e30's I know have a issue with cracked dashes, sounds like the 240sx problem with crack dash, but can't compare when you have the ultimate driving machine.
Future stuff will be rims (16 or 17's, like a polish or silver with chrome lip, something like the bbs's) suspension (maybe coilovers or just nice shocks and lowering springs) kind of a flush look with out the over board negative camber, and keeping it stock color and just going to re fresh it, I love the color too, reminds me of ub40 red red wine when I saw what the color name was lol, and its different from the black and whites (not talking about race lol) and maybe a front and rear bumper swap like mtech or something like that not too sure, if I find it cheap at at pick and pull or bimmer scrap yard I may be tempted, might just save and keep it stock. But first mod will be bumper tuck, with fresh paint and plasti dip to clean it up, going to do exhaust with fart can, NOT!!! listened to youtube clips and might just do what I did to my e46 magnaflow with rear resonator delete, not raspy and quite till you get on it, what intakes are you guys using??? Will be updating picks in the future, of the out come. Cheers

I see nothing wrong with that e46....maybe the black rims a bit much, but everything else is nice!

You can see the handle for the pop-outs on a two door. Looks like a cool color.
