    "Delicate" "sensitive" "extreme"
Is it all those combined? Or just one of em?
Shit happens, life happens. Regardless of the story, nobody should get a hand out just because the guy took care of his responsibilies. He deserved a pat on the back though! How can we donate one of those? I'll give two!
Hope everything gets sorted out. I'll keepa prayer for him.

    Agreed...

Telling the story would help, no matter how sensitive it is. If it really is as bad as you make it sound, the story will help.

what the fuck is up with all the "begging for money" or "help me pay for my car" threads?

shit happens, life happens, and we go on. if we want to purchase and pay for things, we work. if we want more, we work more and work our asses off... simple...

i have an e30 that i want to buy stuff for, and a '69 2002 undergoing a full restomod - yet i'm not asking for help, and i make under $45k a year, and have a family to support... to make up for it, i work 1 full time and 2 part time jobs...

the guy sold the car, and got money. use that money to buy it back if it's such a big deal...

without more details on the situation, I think it will be hard to find strangers to give money. Best of luck, and I hope the guy gets his car back.

My father lost his complete classic car collection and his house due to the crappy economy, so I know where your coming from.

started a topic chip in to help a guy get his car bmw back

chip in to help a guy get his car bmw back

Helping out a friend of mine whos started up a fund to help out a guy get his car back that he had to sell due to some delicate circumstances, if any of you guys can help that would be tops.

"Get John Erdody's BMW 2002 Back
    Organized by Nor' East '02ers

A group of classic BMW enthusiasts is organizing something special for a dear
friend of ours who is actually the man behind the awesome Classic and Vintage BMW page on Facebook.

Please click on the link to help a great guy get his much loved 2002 back .

What are we trying to do?
We would like to help a good friend and a good guy get his car back. If you have ever sold your pride and joy and regretted the day you did, you know how it feels - truly horrible .

John is an avid BMW fan, and started the Classic and Vintage BMW group. Bottom line is this.....Classic and Vintage BMW keeps you entertained for hours, days weeks and months, there are nearly 15,000 fans out there who he keeps entertained , which is no easy task!

We all love BMWs, and we must all know how he feels. If you can spare it, help a tip top man get his pride and joy back.

John has never asked anyone for anything (He didn't ask for this) and however we can, we should all help somebody who does so much for all us

I know a lot of people must be thinking.. "Why should I give to this? I've got my own problems. No one ever bought a car for me. Why do I care about this guy that I don't know, and I've never met". Yep - you could think that way I suppose.

But what you could also think is that you're contributing your part to the universe for positive change. Care for your fellow man. If you knew the full story of the circumstances, you'd want to give immediately - I know it. We haven't been telling the full story because it is still a sensitive issue for John. Just know that he gave up his 2002 because of very extreme circumstances beyond his control, and it has caused him pain ever since.

Imagine how you would feel if you had to give up your vintage BMW.

Imagine how great you would feel if the world gave it back to you.

Think about it - the world needs more positive, don't you think?"

Link can be found here and you can use paypal

Ive donated $50, but even $5 will help get towards the 10K they are trying to raise for him. They have managed to get close to 700 within a week which is great!
