in my formative years i had a glh and a lebaron turbo...also a couple omni's and a town and country lebaron convertible. the most glowing review that i can say about them is that they are complete shit. they ride like marshmallows. they torque steer, the manual trans is crap and operated by cables that stretch out after 60k and get so sloppy it wont shift. the autos are also really bad. the reverse gears lose lubrication and chew themselves up to the point they won't work anymore. the seats are made for fat people and provide no support. the dash and for that matter, the entire car looks like and is a cheap piece of plastic. i have owned well over 100 different cars in my day. even a pinto station wagon and a fucking renaut fuego. i have to say for certainty, these are the worst cars i have ever owned. other that those minor details, they are really good cars....i guess.

    sorry for the rant.

^^^ I would love a clean Omni Turbo. Let's not forget the factory Turbo caravan too.

IIRC, some of these came with a Turbo I engine from the factory. There is a large following of mid80s-early90s fwd turbo dodges. They are fun little cars that can make great power. I know there are a few turbo dodge guys on here. I've had a couple. 86 Daytona Turbo Z C/S with TII swap and a 86 Shelby Charger with TII swap. Both where built to Super 60 specs. I'll write more, but I'm at work now.

I can only imagine how horrifyingly unstable that car has to be. Friend of mine had a "stage2" SRT-4 and it was pretty fast. Making around 275ish WHP in a crappy FWD chassis is a great way to torque steer into a wall. I can only imagine what it's like in this thing. Very unique swap in an unassuming car but no thanks.
