I agree. With that being said, My e30 does look like a pile of shit. How many fucks given? None. How is that abuse?
Condition should not matter. You are helping the enviroment by driving a vehicle that was made 20 years ago vs driving a new vehicle and all of the emissions that go into building it.
Historic should be just that, historic. Who cares what condition it is in.Leave a comment:

Just stick some bottlecaps or weaves on and snap the front and side pics...
As long as it looks relatively CLOSE to factory spec stock...even OEM+ it should be approved.Leave a comment:

Don't worry about it...
Just go to DMV with a photo of the front and the side. They dont know what modified looks like and do not inspect the car in any way.
I cannot speak to the mileage restriction but if your gonna daily drive a E30 (or any car) with QQ's I think your asking for trouble. YMMV
My QQ car barely does 1000 miles a year and even that car has standard coverage (Not Classic insurance like Hagerty etc...)

I wish NC didn't have a 30 year requirement for historic/classic cars. 4 more years until my 87 can register :(Leave a comment:

But then it's not up to mfg specs 'cause I'm pretty sure the car came off the line with the odometer working. No historic for you.Leave a comment:
