^painted the trim on my red car over a year ago. Still looks like brand new.Leave a comment:

How long does any of this stuff actually last before the sun fades it again?Leave a comment:

Some virgin solvent and 1500 grit sand paper on the rubber and plastic stuff seems to work well. If you repaint, find John Deere blitz. Excellent trim paint since it doesn't fade fast and is suuuuper durable.Leave a comment:

I used three or four boxes of magic erasers putting Klaus back together. They also work well for removing overspray, though it takes some work. They're more or less just like 2500 grit sandpaper.Leave a comment:

Krylon Fusion paint for plastic. Super easy to apply and looks great for a rattle can job. It also dries really fast so you can get 3 coats done in no time.
Let it dry for 2 days before putting the trim back on.Leave a comment:

I've had great results w/ Duplicolor Trim Paint. Spot on match.Leave a comment:

I ditto your Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. As that is very important for prepping the black rubber pieces. Then use Forever Black :)Leave a comment:

A Mr Clean magic eraser does wonders for removed dried on wax and other residue on black plastics. As far as restoring the black, either Back to Black or SEM trim paint.Leave a comment:
