Your insurance will go up for sure.... 73/74 914 2.0 ltrs were the best of 4 cylinder poorman Porsche's...But stick with the E30... your wallet will thank you for it !
Funny - with my insurance company this car is cheaper than my 318is!

We have a customer with two 944Ts. An 87 and 88. One will come in for something....then the next week the other will come in for the exact same problem.

I like the looks, kinda like a widebody RX7, but I would rather replace apex seals than do anything on a 944.

Fun little car though. If I were to trade my 318is for a 944 - I'd be looking for a 944S turbo model with all the preventatives done and a stack of receipts. Parts are much more expensive than with BMW (in my opinion).

    That's the Boxster.

    914s are VWs.

For the record, I don't like any P-car. I can appreciate them, but I don't like them.

    LOL !

924 was designed and built by Audi, i would avoid ownership if at all possible.

If you want a porsche, save up some more $ and get the one you want.

Just like all the other posts said. Keep your E30. Porsche 924 is a money pit waiting to happen.

If you're going to do a 9, go older and do a 914, I know of a cherry one for sale, or a 944 turbo.
