I don't mind the new designs from BMW. I'm getting anxious to see the new 2 series in person.

If I could only say one thing or make one request of BMW, it would be to continue supporting the old models with replacement parts so nothing will ever be NLA. Maybe figure out some kind of special order system or more group buy coordination, etc...

Makes no difference. As someone else mentioned, I'm a fan of old(er) cars, 80's and 90's imports. If I didn't have an E30 I'd likely look for a 240sx, foxbody stang or a DA Integra. There was just something different about car design 20-30 years ago where you could come out with fun stuff that was shitty and actually have them sell.

Yeah - I'll certainly check out the new 2 series when it's out... best looking BMW for while to my mind & actually compact. F30 is too big - most dimensions are almost identical to an e39!

I wouldn't mind seeing where the 2 series goes.

i almost thought about doing this at one point when my friend bobbed his toyota bed, not to this extent though like just take the trunk and shorten it to so the trunk is like an e36, i want an e30 325ti

    +1

I am really starting to like the appeal of a 128i at this point. They've depreciated reasonably, and they have a nice size, easily comparable to an e30

At first I was liek HELL NO! but now I'm starting to like them

I wouldn't say "most." Definitely "some," and perhaps even "several" or "many," but definitely not "most."

I'm not really interested in new BMW's, particularly the F generation, but I would rock the hell out of a 1M. Unfortunately the extremely limited production run means that's probably not going to happen. :\

I actually like the cars BMW is currently making, except the bloated 3er. I do like the 1er/2er because I tend to like smaller autos. At first, I liked the "flame surfacing" of the Bangle era because it was unique and controversial, although the 3er was left pretty much alone, thank goodness.

Over time though I began to notice the Bangle era BMWs are not aging well which is why I believe you can pick up a E65 7er or E60 5er for so cheap. Bottom line, they're ugly! During the Bangle era though, BMW overtook Mercedes as the global leader in premium car sales, so..........

The current line up looks much better. Some say it lacks flare and imagination, but I think that is exactly what will make these designs age with better appeal. I mean look at all of the conservative designs from all 3 German auto makers over the years, they look a hell of a lot better from cars from other countries from the same era look. German auto design has a timeless look, even the "ugly" cars. Of course, this is all my opinion.

I dont know about you guys but I'd kill for a new m4 for a daily duties car and reserve the e30 for weekend shenanigans. Sometimes I dont mind being a few layers back from the road and being able to just cruise.
But since this is r3v, screw new bmws:D

E82 125i/128i, and the S54 powered 6 speed E86 M coupe are the only BMW's built in the last ~10 years that I actually like.
