    1. Knock on door
    2. Introduce yourself as the new neighbor
    3. Ask what car is under the cover
    4. Tell him if he ever wants to get rid of it that you'd be interested
    5. Buy his car

Edit: don't fuck his wife until step five has been completed for maximum effectiveness.

Knock on the door and introduce yourself as being new to the neighborhood. Seems like the neighborly thing to do. I'm sure you'll eventually find a way to steer the conversation towards the car.

x2 and avoid an appearance that will or could make them feel uneasy.

I just moved into a new neighborhood and noticed that there is a 318is half covered sitting in someone's driveway. The car does look to be a bit neglected, but could be a nice project to take on during the summer. The house looks like an old person's and my guess is that they have had the e30 for years, but never drive it any more.

Anyone on here have any advice on how to stir up a conversation with the owner and not come off like a wierdo?
