    88's had the same bumpers as early model cars, but different, shorter shocks.

    91 cars have no trunk tar.
    9/90 still did. fwiw.

    I never really understood what people were talking about until I got a parts car with it. Then I realized my car never had it.
    Mine is an August of '89 build, 1990 model year.

    For what it's worth, my '90 does have the trunk tar. I always thought that not having the tar was a 318is thing.
    I never really understood what people were talking about until I got a parts car with it. Then I realized my car never had it.
