the local Ace Hardware down the street from my garage has 95% of what I need when I replace bolts/nuts that kinda shit. I have had to order from fastenal before, but my local hardware store has most of what I need....however home depot and lowes metric selection is awfulLeave a comment:

You guys don't have Fastenal in your area? They're much cheaper than home depot and have every kind of bolt/screw you could want - and if they don't have it they can make itLeave a comment:

Order yourself a nice stash of bolts from McMaster or something.Leave a comment:

Nothing better/worse than piecing together project vehicles with stuff from hardware stores.

Most of the puch stuff is a smaller diameter pipe, usually in the 25-30mm range. I'll swing by HD or Lowes and check the conduit clamps just in case. I knew they looked familiar but couldn't remember a name. Thanks again R3V!Leave a comment:

I'm sure home depot would have conduit clamps or something that'd work (if you need it done ASAP today that is)Leave a comment:

Where to find this style clamp
Its for my moped exhaust and I can't seem to find anything sturdy enough.

Unfortunately I can't fit a U bolt in the area and band clamps aren't going to give enough clamping force. The pipe diameter is around 34/35mm which puts it right between 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 inches.Tags: None
