Too many at junk yards and craigslist to pay that much, at least on this coast. For a well sorted one, I could see that if it had documentation

Oh, with a trans, I'd be down for sure. But this guy's telling me he bought his automatic M30 for $700. He also says M30 5 speeds go for about $250, and that part I don't doubt. I just couldn't imagine being $950 in on a M30 swap and not have a flywheel, engine mounts, or even the right ECU.
