Hi Guys,
So i ended up getting some duplicolor bumper paint. Turned out perfectly. This is a easy option as it does not require a primer. It will need a fine grit sand though. I now need to colour match it rest of the bumper to my car! Something i hope to do in the future.
I also decided to paint my front grille. Silver was cracked due to the previous owner so decided to go all black until i manage to source another one.
I hope this helps those who need to do the same thing!
Cheers

John Deere blitz black. I can't believe someone hasn't recommended it yet. It's the best.Leave a comment:

I like it when people refer to them as Mk1/Mk2. Sounds way cooler than the other ways.Leave a comment:

I think strictly speaking it was a satin finish, which most if not all trim paints are.Leave a comment:

Series 2 Bumper/Grille Fade
Hi all,
Long time reader but first time poster!
I have just purchased my first e30 and am trying to bring it back up to its former glory.
All my bumpers and grille are faded and i am having trouble finding what the original finish of the bumpers from factory were. Were they a gloss finish or more of a matte finish?
Also any advice on what products to use to bring them back up?
Cheers and Thanks In AdvanceTags: None
