Any insights into why it wont sell? Rust? Bad history? Other?

The new tools don't fit into the spark plug well far enough to clip onto the spark plug... so they either need to be modified with a file if you actually want them to be functional (as in work like a proper tool), or you have to accept that they're just decorative.

Not sure, I normally try to document M3 craigslist adds but that car seemed very much together so I didn't bother. I considered checking the car out but forgot about it until now!

Pulling the plugs was never the issue. The issue is completing the tool kit with the factory tool that is typically missing.

                Gotcha.

First time I went to pull the plugs on an s14, it had to be "that guy" that stands there and watches you work on his car. Watched me modify the socket form the "sacrificial socket" drawer and decided he could "McGuyver" his dual pumps to the late 325 single. That 12mm low pressure hose doesn't like an in tank high pressure pump, he is lucky he didn't BBQ the car.

E30 M3 tool is different. It's 2pc telescopic. It's completely different from the 318/325 tool.

There's no kit. You buy the parts you need from wherever you can find them. You either refurb the trim yourself or buy new from BMW or any of the parts suppliers that sell BMW. You'll need different bumper shocks as well.

                        good luck

Maybe the mileage and some of interior kept the price down? That’s a pretty good price IMHO. There’s a 1990 Red M3 with 22 hours to go at $22,000 on BaT
