Yeah, the buyer and I are both happy. He's getting a great deal for what it would take to build one of these, and I had no clue what it was really worth so it works for both of us. I never intended to "make back" anything on this build so it works out. Hopefully the rest of the transaction goes smoothly, I'll keep the updates coming in my build thread.

I don't get it. Why all the fawning over that - it sounds terrible on the engine stand - and even once warmed up and running it still sounds like a VW bug, rattling to death. Porsche guys are just a giant circle jerk of air cooled weirdness..

M20B20 is the worst E30 engine, not even the M40B16 is worse, at least it doesn't try to pretend that it's a fastish car. Also, that price is bogus this early on.

M20B20 is the worst E30 engine, not even the M40B16 is worse, at least it doesn't try to pretend that it's a fastish car. Also, that price is bogus this early on.

I posted the old link to Retrofitting A/C. I am sure some are thinking it's just disconnected - but I believe that is a non-A/C car. So it's going to be a dash out exercise... Not to mention they'll probably need a parts car to get all the hard parts. It can be done, but at 12K already, it's going to be interesting to see if it's worth the extra cost.
