Collectors car market in full swing now, $6,700 and 3 days left for an automatic comfort seat equipped eta early. Pretty soon we'll be seeing muscle car tier prices for these E30s where base models are selling for $10,000.

The excessive tire shine on worn out tires thing is pretty priceless

How many of these auctions end in a sale? I feel like theres so many cars on FB that are good quality for 1/3rd of the price...
85% of the time i have no idea what I'm doing

More than $100k has been spent on the project. $20k on the engine.
And it's not even the Pagoda.
          Will it sell for $10k?

The E30 has so many relatively cheap parts for restorations in comparison.

Man...I thought prices would stay down too but that car went for 32k. I'm not super connected to M3 values but with that level of rust I thought it was going to go for much much less.

I was shocked it broke $30k also, but I think the completeness of the car and how well documented it was certainly helped the final price

That's insanity. It will cost a huge amount of money to repair a car with that level of visible rust, who knows what is there but can't be seen with the car intact. I wonder if the buyer intends to restore it and sell for a profit as is so common now or just wants to enjoy the car. If it's the former, whoever buys it next better go over it with a magnet before purchasing.
