Been going through this thread and thoroughly enjoying it. Shoulda known there'd be R3V peeps sharing E30 BaT info.. late to the party again.

Nobody looks at DBs as some original design that shouldn't be messed with. They are looked at, rightfully, as something that should never have been put on the cars and which should be replaced with Euro bumpers at the earliest opportunity.

This is so true it makes my head spin. DBs were an afterthought from the beginning. You can learn to love them as a family member, but that's as far as it goes lol. And tbh wife and I love our painted euro bumpers and early model taillights. When you park the car side by side with a late model the plastic bumpers actually look pretty heavy.

We'll keep the DBs on the 88IX coupe though.

That E23 posting pretty much sums up BAT now. The selling dealer purchased it from the original owner 3 months ago.. It's just a flipper forum now.

If someone wants to buy the heart and soul of this car, the aluminum block M52 for ~$5000 I will do that and keep the car, but thats not happening .... I dont think
