seriously, how many are for sale in the ~8k range.... kinda risky to try and flip but if a few more go for ~15k I bet our prices here will start to climb. The last swapped car (non-M) went for 12.5 so this was a big jump

edit: time to get edit the price on my feeler thread

Bid for the chance to own a No Reserve: 1987 BMW 325iC at auction with Bring a Trailer, the home of the best vintage and classic cars online. Lot #1,540.

i could have purchased this car a couple months ago for 15k. it needed a lot of work then. i looked it over pretty good. they even let me take it for a drive and put it on a lift. the body line between the doors and quarters were askew. it does have real e30 m3 cabrio quarter panels on it. the side skirts were standard coupe and have a gap of about 3/4" at the bottom. this is the car that chris from sin city bmw has sitting on this lot. it looks like they have done a lot of work to it since i saw it last. it was probably repainted or at least fixed as there were a lot of issues with it. the salvage title kills it for me.

i bet it sells for a lot more than 15 grand.

I thought it looked familiar. The s50 powered white/black one has been sitting at $26k a while, surely this couldn't approach $26k...could it?

Yeah. I don't know how I feel about that one.. I get that it's an iS, but so what? 90% of the people are going to change what makes it any different from a regular 325i. Yet everyone seems to think that makes it special. OK..

But, if it makes every E30 worth more, then fine - I'll take that..

It is weird though to look at what is a now 30 year old car and think back to my first car back in '92. It wasn't even 30 years old, but was already considered a classic at that time (1967 Chevy II.) I guess it's all perspective.

because S52. everyone overlooks my "lowly" M52 yet I challenge any of these S52s to whatever competition they want and I have nothing but confidence for MY M52, shame most dont
