I noticed the same when I went to waterfest, they don't skimp
when it comes to wheels/tires. Imo the right set of wheels and tires
can make or break a car.

Tell me about it, I couldn't turn my head without seeing about 3-6 grand in wheels. Mulit-piece BBS, Fikse's, HRE, J-Line, Compo's, Schmidt etc... no to mention OE porsche, benz. Crazy.

i like looking at VWs cause their owners (particularly of the old skool ones) often have interesting (and sometimes questionable) taste. lots of nice cars there for sure, wish i had gone...i knew a couple of the DCI guys from a german car club i was in while i lived in MD.
