You are right, but honestly Wikipedia is full of shit. I can hit that little edit button on the top and write whatever the hell I want.

Couldve just gone right to the source, which for some reason wasnt working earlier today.

The current TVRs all share the Inline Speed Six, with the exception of the Speed Twelve, which is probably 2 Speed Sixes

I saw a bloke with a sagaris in shannon ireland last year. It was built up to around 450horsepower or round abouts he was speaking Newton meters so it was kinda hard to convert it off hand. Anyway that is a very sweet car.

The Veryon has like 15 intercoolers... its insane and suprisingly quiet at idle. Nothing like the Drone of an enzo. Truly wicked car, but worth the 1.2 million? hahaha not from me.

My dream car would be either a 91 E30 M3 with an S50B32 motor built up a little to maybe around 400 horspower, or a 993 911 turbo... both with roll cages 5 point harnesses but still streetable.

ONe day and hopefully one day soon i will own one of those cars.

    Good thread:)

Right, I never saw them put it through any tests either... but I would guess that it is the fastest car. Two v8s and 4 turbos...

TVRs aren't sold here. I think they stopped selling them here in the late '80s. They're sweet-looking cars and very fast, but I've read they're not very reliable. Plus a young Russian billionaire owns it now, so I don't know if their cars are going to be as cool.

And a Veyron would be my dream car. It's one of the fastest cars in the world, but when driven like a regular car, it's as smooth and refined as an Audi A8. I think that's pretty tight.

The Engine is trying to escape from under the Bonnett.

I d/l this episode last year, watch it when I want to see some fun driving. I like that car. TVR should send us this car sans an engine so it could be considered a kit car.

I'd take the TVR just for the shock value. I see Z06s everyday, but a TVR? Comprable acceleration, much lighter, much more agressive, similar price, hands down the Sagaris.

    Me too.
Impressive numbers from the TVR but personally I don't like the styling. Fender vents that don't vent? Those sideways exhaust tips.... ummm what?

Blah, blah, blah.... It's british, make sure you get your wholesale pricing on fire extinguishers...

Just being an ass, I know, but the Brits definetly know how to build an explosive automobile (pun intended)...
