Well, just got back from my fadded ass drive. It was chill, I just drove around Long Beach. I'm sure in most cities, you have Downtown (whatever your city is), yet you've probably not seen ALL of your city. So, faded and loving the feel of my E30, I was on a mission to explore my entire city. Haha, sounds lame but I was up in smoke. The lovely purr of my M20 and the throaty rumble of my stock exhaust just sent me in space. I cruised down all of the long, empty streets without stoplights and enjoyed the scenery. I also took a break from reality and just appreciated life itself. I took the time to notice the lights and took the in the calm, quiet feeling. Here in Downtown Long Beach, we have the Long Beach Grand Prix where they do nascar and stuff. So when its not a nascar event, the roads are open for regular use. So I figure I give it a run before I drove home. Stop at a red light, and wait for the green.
Before I knew it, I was home. Locked the doors, stood back, and gave my E30 a pat on the trunk.

I thought this thread was a "bad" kind of venting.
It's healthy to express love for stuff, I'm glad you've found something that makes your life better.

Many times did I sit behind the wheel of my 91 thinking how much I loved it.
I sit behind the wheel of my Eta and love it too though! I don't know what it is about that car.

May I vent?
Alright guys, I need to vent.
I just want to say how much I love my E30. I was on the way to my mom's work to pick her up, which was about a twenty minute drive. I was on the 105 fwy, traffic was going pretty smooth. I just love how the car felt the whole drive there. With the little things I have done to the car such as M3 springs, Sport Billys, and a Sparco strut bar.. the car feels like its already handling on rails. There was a circle-ish ramp that led down to the rest of the freeway, and I gave it a lil more gas on the turns. Going about 80-85, the car stuck to its ground on the turn. Then on the way down the ramp, this granny gets in my way and now I'm rolling at 45 on a 65 speed limit, heh. I couldn't switch over cuz there was a buncha cars on the next lane goin pretty fast. Feeling a little spirited with the car, I put it in third gear and sped past granny. Clear roads all ahead, I sped thru fourth and back to fifth. I spent the next ten minutes just cruising at 75, admiring the piece of machine I oh so adoreheh. Although I have a stock muffler, which I believe sounds REALLY sporty for a stock muffler, the sound the car gives off when you press the gas down just reminds me to slow down, heh. I don't know guys, have you ever just cruised down the freeway and just thought about what you were driving? How it felt? How much you're enjoying it? I only ever drove my sister's civic once, and I drove the hell out of it just to see how it would compare. My sister's civic has eibachs, a strut and konis so I figure it should somewhat be ALMOST the same as mine, heh. But as I was driving it, it just felt sluggish. In the end, I felt satisfied knowing my car felt better than hers. E30s just feel comfortable. I love it.
