Smooth: In my first post, I wasn't going to outline my personal reasons for not letting my sister drive my car. I didn't mean to mislead you or to give the false impression that I am a hypocrite. No harm done, none felt though. I admit that I am not perfect, none of us are, but I'm striving for that goal.

Now, to my LDS drivers, I never knew we had so many on the Forums!! That's awesome!

"lil sis" already has a car. Its a '76 2002 that we're cleaning up for her. My car would attract far too much attentionfrom other guys for her to drive it. My dad said he would remove all the mods from the car before he let her take it anywhere. That's reason #1, #2 being that I need to sell my car for a nest egg for when I get back. I'm not being selfish, if she didn't have a car I'd think about letting my parents work out a way for her to invest in the car as she drives it, but mine is one more car than we need so it has to go.

I can either pay someone to store it or let my sisters drive it...yeah right.

a number of people even joked about terrible women drivers but you didn't step in to defend your sisters' driving abilities, or your decision not to give her (them?) the car, until I called you out and questioned the way you carry yourself while calling yourself a christian.

"serving" is not just selectively doing nice deeds...it's also about how you carry yourself and how others perceive your walk. like I said, you're choosing a difficult path...and once you make a claim to a particular lifestyle, your behavior reflects (both poorly or postively) on others who are in that same lifestyle.

I don't hold the same disrespect for religious persons that an earliier poster has...but I certainly don't suffer hypocrasy and I don't appreciate people behaving in ways that can be interpreted as hypocritical because that stains many good people I personally know.

Hey 2002 I'm in the Peñalolén area, that's on the eastern side of the city, close to the mountains, in fact i live about 30 blocks away from the base of the andes.
