^^^ Agree, the car does look nice on the outside. Maybe he doesn't know the difference.

There was one white Sport Evo made, but this sure ain't it.

Sad when someone takes a nice car in its' own right, and adds lame stickers, like he wishes it was something it's not. He ought to be proud of the car as it is, instead of trashing it up with fakey Evo window stickers and dumb LTW badges on the fenders.

Adding a Sport Evo rear wing doesn't make it a S.E. - his front splitter isn't even attached using the correct undertray.

Unpimp all the goofy crap and you would have a decent looking M3.

17 digits is the first give away. When I saw the vin number I thought it was mine. Last 4 were close to mine. Freaked me for a second.

I will admit for the price it's a nice car and it has alot of spares.

This ebay sellers has no clue. This thing has a few EVO Parts. I will be interested to see what this goes for and if some one will call him on it.

I can tell you he is about 100+ parts shy from being an EVO Clone. (Ask me how I know)

Just based on that VIN- that is US spec car number 1319. It's only 128 cars off from mine. I would guess it to be 8 of '87 production.

    Here's a link to a couple of real Evo 3 (sport evolution) E30 M3s
These aren't great pics but you get an idea.

A couple of things all E30 owners should know about the E30 M3:
Evo 3 only came in 2 colors (officially), Jet black and Brilliant Red
The only E30 M3 to come from the factory with a 2.5L S14 engine.
Probably the rarest and most desireable E30 M3 version around (some argue the Ravaglia is rarer or the convertible E30 M3)
Never sold in the US (there are a few that have been imported)
If the one on Ebay was real it would sell for about $35K or more

BTW-It is possible to create an almost exact replica of the Evo 3 , almost all of the parts are available from BMW.

You're right. The seats are wrong, the engine is definately wrong, the fender flares aren't big enough...the list goes on and on. A decent M3, but not an Evo. They didn't even sell Evos in the US.
