My friend Nick is going to SHIT himself. He's an insane Ghostbuster's fan, he's got a full sleeve tattoo in progress of all 4 of the guys firing on the Sta-Puft Marshmallow Man. And his collection of Ghostbuster's schwag is epic.
I got to sit in the real Ecto 1 from the movie. I was at Sony Studio one day and "got lost" and ended up finding the lot where they parked the movie cars. I have a picture somewhere? That same day we snuck onto the Jeopardy set and got behind the podiums with our shirts off for a Naked jeopardy shot. It's pretty funny.
I actually have a pretty classic hilarious vid on my cell of it rolling back off that trailer and smashing into the fence pole/fence (brakes). The vid is in MP4 format and I can't figure out how to convert the damn thing to MPEG or AVI. I've tried download.com and google. All I come up with is trial versions which only give me the first half and shiite like that.....
Yeah...we unloaded on an old cadillac that was done for with a few rounds. Like 600. Funny thing, none of them made it to the passengers compartment through the doors and such.
We drive it into town after that....you wanna see some looks.
It didn't like the 7.62x51 AP, though. Can you say "knife through butter"?
That thing flat black + slammed and chromed would look sweet.
That was my first thought as well. Hmmm. possibly a next project for me, after the flat black 66 chevy I've got chillin in the garage. Yes I am a fan of the color:p
BTW, The ghost busters Ecto 1 is gonna be awesome, and the suite is amazing and the details incredible, I can only imagine the time it spent to make that.
I can't look at that pic without hearing the "monster mash" song in my head.
Jesse James tried to work on one of those 1960's hearses in the Monster Garage and the project gave him a very hard time. Back in those days cars were really made out of steel and were virtually bullet proof. When you see the old cop TV shows where the bad guys are using the car door as a shield as they are in the shootout with the cops, that is actually possible!
Hahaha! That is SICK! I love the movie, and and know every line! The first was by all means the best one!
Enjoy! Looks like fun!
funny you bring up knowing all the lines, we were sitting there quoting lines as they pertained to what we were doing. I simply know alot of them because everytime I am flipping through channels and come upon GB, I have to watch all of it till the end. Never fails.
