I worked in body shop once and one of the guys did stuff like that. Once he put a Cadillac "Sedan de Ville" emblem on a Toyota Corolla four door. Also a Mazda "RX7" emblem on a Mercury Cougar "XR7". Neither one ever came back! He also did a lot of stuff with the emblems and decals on motors. When you replace hoods and core supports you usually have a bunch of stickers to put on the new parts like the diagrams for fan belts and vacuum hoses.
