We have a couple at my shop I think but shipping would probably be a bitch. I'm out for the next but you can email my boss, Alex, if you're interested: alex@avarestoration.com. Good luck with everything!

    That sucks.

All 'i' heads are the same, and can be identified externally by a large "884" casted into the side of it.

Welp..................... def more damage than just a split radiator, and bits.
Got my car back today, and the temp guage is running 3/4s of the way up (never did that before) and I noticed quite a bit of moisture in the tail pipes.
So I think I just need to find a rebuildable head, and do a top end? I also noticed one of the injectors clicking too.
So anyone with an IS head for sale????

I know many women who would just keep on driving. My ex girlfriend blew my head gasket that way when the TEMP light came on and the needle was deep into the red area. She kept on driving around town running errands and carrying on as if there was not a problem. Then later in the day she called me to tell me that the car stopped running and she could smell something funny.. and she figured that even though the red light came on, the car still ran fine so there was nothing to worry about.

Wow, that's a lot of stuff to go wrong at once.

Was the water pump / alt. belt just worn out or was it torn up?

OK I just hope it did not do any other harm to the engine / head?

Done this too. 10:30-11 at night on a frontal road going as fast as he could. water pump pulley shredded and the belt came off. took us a while cause we dicked around, and i had to tow another E30 with mine, but with the parts in DevoE30's garage and it being freezing cold outside at 3 in the morning we did a pretty good job.

Been there, done that. Side of the road at 8:30 at night, 12 degree weather in January about 6 years ago.

    Oh so fun.

    That is pretty funny!
But none of my belts are gone. They are all in good shape. I kinda got under the car today to see if a freezeplug let loose, but they all look ok.
I have my friend coming over here soon to pressure test the cooling system to see where the leak is.
GOD I hope it is something easy.
But yeah I hope since the car was spewing steam, nothing major is phuked.:drink:
