    only reason I ever go to the DIY car wash is to high pressure spray those damned basketweaves..

    The pain of washing those itself is a reason to buy some aftermarkets.

    As for the paint, I would wait a few more days to was it, or if you do, using a really soft mit and don't spray the water hard at all.

  • Any problem with washing freshly painted body panels?

    My driver side fender and trunk have fresh paint on them [did them over the weekend] and I'm wondering if it would hurt them at all to take it to the DIY spray and wash tonight... The car is dirty as hell.
