Windshield is different, had to choose between cabriolet windshield and non-cab. I believe it has a little metal piece stuck to it for the mirror. :P

I agree that a vert specific area would be a great asset.

Just make a damn sub-forum. I mean, there's a 2000+ forum which is just another off-topic for senior members.

and on the note about the original topic. a sub forum wouldn't be a terrible idea... given there are a few tricky items on these cars, and quite a few unique parts... more then i realized was different before i bought one of these cars.

as for a subforum for m3 or iX, I see no need, as there are m3 specific forums that can cover more m3 information then would be available here. and iX....... ummm.. no comment.

Yes Brother, and that is why it would be nice to have a depository of information on the site I visit the most, I don't want to be reading five different posts, I happen to work for a living my e30 is my hobby and passion.

Here's how I do it. I get all my cabrio specific info from a handful of different places, none of which are r3vlimited or bf.c.

some things that are different not mentioned already:
    - driveshaft ( specifically for a 5 speed conversion )
    - DIY taurus rocker panels wont fit because bigger rockers on cabbie
    - battery location
    - doors, regulators, interior trim, stereo system
    - top , boot ( just this section is very complex )

i think we should do it
