i was looking everywhere else ya know, the whole thing happend in about 5 seconds and i was already thinking of 10 things i can remember, probibly more.

super cool how fast the brain can make decisions though, i mean i was simaltaniously looking were i was going, where i could do, to make sure the guy i was mergining with was clear, the slowing of other cars, if the dutche was passed me yet and when it was inevitable... how should i hit this guy in front of me. but it seems for the situation i made all the choices right and thats how i didnt total any other cars..

Given another change though. i would have slammed that fucker into the shoulder and out ran his gay car.

I know of a white BMW parking in a garage somewhere in South Tacoma. I hear the owner is on the other side of the world right now. I will see if I can track down a set of keys. ;)

Well just getting completed replacing a full front end on an E30, I'll tell you there are a few welds to bust loose to re-use a core support. Not insurmountable though. Just have sharp drill bits to drill out the welds. We were working back at the firewall, so I didn not have to break apart just the core support.

Core supports are available new still, FYI. The PRO-3 car that hit me had to replace the core support and they used a new one, was asian, not from BMW. Not sure what the cost was. Work was done at Haury's.

Reading through your original post it was like reading an action book or something, that’s a crazy and sucky scenario. Good luck with the rebuild, and remember kids, ricers come with little cylinder syndrome, be cautions when approaching, if they loose they may run their car into yours.

Call the Cops

You should call the cops. Perhaps someone got the ricer's license plate. Hit and run is a crime, ORS 811.700, and restitution is almost always ordered as part of the sentence. ORS 811.706. The ricer could also have his license suspended. ORS 809.411.

Further, if there is more than $1,500 in damages, you must report the accident. ORS 811.720. You could get in trouble if you do not and someone else has reported the accident along your license plate number.
