Really? The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave it 5 out 5 stars for frontal impact for both driver's side and passenger side.
Also gave it 4 out of 5 stars for roll over resistance and passed the dynamic test without tipping.
Anyway, people don't buy wranglers for speed, don't know why you keep
mentioning it? Btw, e30's and toyota echo's are not exactly quick either;)
Oh and another interesting thing is the echo seems to be more of a
"death" trap than a wrangler.
It got only 4 out 5 stars for the same criteria and got 4 out of 5 stars for
rollover.
It's common sense, what vehicle would you rather be in when a
huge SUV barrels into you because a soccor mom was talking on her cell phone?Last edited by egk2; 08-24-2007, 07:09 AM.Leave a comment:

The old inline had less hp, but it had much better low-end torque, and the vehicle was much smallerLeave a comment:

crash tests are not complimentary. The v6 even mated to the 6psd is a dog, I can only imagine how the automatic would behave. At 60mph, I had to shift down to 4th to be able to accelerate. I hate to floor it in order to gain speed.Leave a comment:

pm'd you.The install was pretty simple, mainly all new control arms and springs, along with track bar mods. The alignment was a bit different as far as specs go. Normally they want around 7' of caster, the new JK's want about 5'. There are knockouts on the front diff brackets so you can get caster back in spec. Need any help, let me know. I do these things for a livin'.Leave a comment:

Land Rover Defender is way different than other LR models. it has much more less electronics than other LR models such as discovery, LR2, or range roverLeave a comment:

I would never buy a used rover, the electronics on those things are a nightmare.....If it wasnt for that issue, i would already own one.Leave a comment:
