yeah tix for being extra low are pretty damn common is CA, they measure from the center of your headlight to the floor. it has to be a certain height.

Last time I checked, it was 22 inches.

In Kansas the center of your headlights are supposed to be 24inches in the center to the ground. Mine are barely 21in, and I know I have not lowered my car by more than 1.5in so mine was never legal to begin with. Figure that one out.
