If I remember correctly, it had full Turner J-Stock suspension with the auto M10 at one point! :D

Haha was it still auto with the J-stocks? I don't even remember. I guess it was. What an outstanding first car that thing was.

Yeah, the motor was real tired, started drinking and leaking a lot of oil, so Greg Levangie hooked me up with a 2002 motor to put in. I got the 318 motor out, looked at the two, and saw that the 2002 motor wouldn't fit because it didn't have the provisions for e30 motor mounts. Then the car sat for a LONG time...I ended up stealing a small part here, a small part there for the s50 car, and it ended up being a pile of shit. So I yanked the relatively valuable parts off and had it towed away. As great at it was, it was only a headache towards the end.

That's Tolofou, Rob's back on our local E30 mailing list, picked up a silver M3 a while back IIRC.
Haven't seen him on the boards though... unless he got a new name.

Stripped and junked the 318 last year, had an '03 S2000 for a year, have currently had an '05 STi for over a year, and I've had OOMPH's old s50e30 for about a year now.
