    Yeah - merkur was built in germany - but it was owned by ford and marketed primarily to the US. you could use your same logic to say that some VW's aren't german - as they are built in mexico.

    Speaking of historic, we need to go a little older here, folks. Now THESE are American cars. The Duesenberg...400 horsepower, modern car performance and handling...in the early 1930s. The second is an old Cadillac...yeah, they came with V16s back then. Can you imagine rolling down the street in something this classy? I can't. Just a little sample of what's back there before the '50s...
