I have an oldschool HPI sport of some kind. Its fun for messing arround:
    (not mine)

Associated RC10 GT, it was such a blast when I had it running right, some paddle tires out at pismo beach it was such a blast, I just beat it up too hard and now its too far gone to bring back to life.

Associated RC10 B3, Electric is the way to go for low maint. I want to do a brushless conversion and try to find some buggy paddle tires. Some huge Mah batteries and see how much fun I can have with it.

And my next car without a doubt:

Kyosho Mini-Z is the winter hit for me, this is my MB on my MR015 chassis.
My brother started playing with them at a local track and is doing well won the C main last week. Me I'm an advanced beginner, that translates to I spent the money but don't have time to practice.

Here is a link to other bodies

First R/C car i had was a TA03F. What a blast! I always had fun yanking the belt and running it as a FWD car with a stiff rear sway bar. That poor car got beat to death!

Now i have the mandatory TT01 with E30 M3 body. Few hop-ups, 15turn motor, and some alloy bits. Haven't taken it out in a long time.

    EDIT:

    The beat up body:

    FTW

I have 3, one's got stage a stage 2 motor and suspension, one's got AWD, and suspension, one is broken. IMO these are the best for the money, can't beat $50 for what you get.

I also have probably 10 crappy $20 electric cars

    I have a few:

    Traxxas Nitro Rustler 3.3

    Traxxas 4-Tec:

Cars I don't have pictures of:

AE Original RC10 w/ sprint car conversion
    AE Original RC10 in pieces
    TRC pan car

Both the Rustler and 4-Tec are HEAVILY modified. Rustler has CF upper chassis w/ 3mm aluminum lower, CF shock towers, lightened stock arms, a few aluminum suspension parts, hardened steel output yokes, etc.

4-Tec has Nitro 4-tec arms and diffs making it 200mm wide, LRP speed controller, Speedgems motor, Deans connectors, custom cf lower chassis w/ custom aluminum upper chassis, cf shock tower, etc. THe pictures are actually really old. THe car has changed a lot since then, but I do have the same body.

Tamiya TA03F Dave Jun LM. Its pretty dope. Fully built (graphite chassis, ball diffs, CVs, etc etc) Got it from a friend. Put the e46 M3 HPI body on it. Plastic tires on it ATM for doriftos. Its awesome!

Tamiya TA03R dead stock. Benzo CLK GTR body on that one. No pic tho

PS. I fuked up when I painted the M3 (tryed silver) so I ended up painting the outside with black to salvage what I had left lol.

I had a nitro RS4 SS (all the purple Al) with e39 m5 body. I got it together 3 weeks before I deployed in 2003, got to play with it once in my Co. parkinglot and ran it into a puddle that was hidden on the otherside of a curb. Didn't have anytime to tear it down before I deployed, so it sat for a year. Finally got it good to go a month before my second deployment, played with it for about a week, then sold it while deployed. Kept the body though, and will get an electric car sometime in the near future.

I have an E-maxx and a HPI nitro RS4, but I never use them anymore. They are too much of a money pit.
