Cleaned out my garage yesterday to get started on the swap in the M3. Thought this picture was pretty cool.

I will try and dig up a picture, but I don't have a lot of my cars. They are Drag DR20 in a gunmetal finish, 15x6. They are also ET40, but I'm running 20 or 25mm spacers so they clear the brakes and look ok.Leave a comment:

Old garage, old house. Tore the car apart, replaced oil pan, subframe, steering rack, steering guibo, motor mounts, CAB's.. my first project car that I really got into.
What I lack in mechanical experience, I make up for in mechanical enthusiasm.

Then we moved. A garage was one of the things I needed.
This was when I brought the car over. Garage is now filled with tools/workbench/other stuff. I have yet to get back into the E30. Someone in this thread mentioned taking 45 minutes a day to clean and organize. I may do that.

When we were looking for a new place, ending up in an Apartment/Townhouse with no garage/sub par garage was my biggest fear. We got really lucky! I spent a LONG time without a garage. I feel your pain man, hoping you find that perfect spot soon! Your car deserves it.
Keeping the thread going. Been finding it hard to find time (yeah I know... so does everyone else.) after work to get things done. Made a promise to myself that I would spend at least 45min a night just getting things more organized/cleaned up then they were the previous visit.
Got this Parts Washer from HF a long time ago. Finally got fresh/new solvent from Motor Oil Supply - 50 Gallons seems to work fine, but i'm tempted to get another 50 Gallon bucket to throw in there. Got all my drain pans cleaned up, need to dispose of the waste oil, but that's where the empty 50 Gallon Solvent Bucket comes in handy.
As you can see, lighting is still ghetto... to say the least. Better than nothing though, so I can't complain. Should have the lighting somewhat dialed in this weekend. Got Sunday all to myself (HALLPASS!) so I plan to spend all day working in the garage. Need to do an Oil Service, Change my plugs, general detail, and rehang my Splitter.

Progress is progess!Leave a comment:
