John, They're Zlins, inverted 6, retractable gear, a bit more aerobatic and MUCH better flying than the Chippie, IMHO. I used to tour with them on the airshow circuit, now they live in the front yard - their owners, my friends, let me keep them airborne - they'd sit and rot if I weren't wringing them out.
Me at work, about two months ago, the day they announced my furlough. I'm now in mechanic's indoc at the same airline.. gonna get back to my knuckle skinning roots, till another flying job comes around.

Reason: name/link repairs
Seems like as good a place as any to jump into the fray. Been lurking a while, trying to learn something abou these cars. Been an owner 36 hours, already got one of the trunk wells cut out and templated for rust repairs. :-D
My "garage" is an airplane hangar in my front yard. Lots of space.. but gotta share with four planes! Two of them are European.. so it's a good mix.
Great garage harv. Are you on garage journal? That build looks familiar. How much were the SIPs if you don't mind me asking, reasonable? What is their R value?
For an addition and garage I'd really like to go the ICF route but SIPs are probably much more cost effective with being able to have the building up in a weekend.
