Lower your damn prices, they are downright outragous! Knowing you guys this $40 piece of steel will be $400.Leave a comment:

I'm already sold on this. I dont care what color it comes in.
What you should do is have a basic x-brace in black or red or something simple, and include a $20 option to have it painted another color. That might be nice.
Anyway I'm ready to see these on the market. I'll make mine gold damnit.Leave a comment:

At least 500 dollars and definitely some kind of lime green.BMW e30 Lower X Brace a joint R&D project of Entwicklung Dreißig Zen and Mason Engineering.
We have just finished testing and have release these prototype images of the e30 lower X Brace (shown here on one of our test cars). In testing we addressed and resolved some clearance issues (both ground and machine) and the balance of weight to strength concerns addressed.
The final unit is of a larger diameter tube (lighter weight yet just as strong in tension and compression) and have additional strategically placed gusseting and supports. The final product with specs will appear on our site soon and possibly will go into production as soon as early May.

Just one question left...What color should they be?Leave a comment:

We use a self etching paint on our stress braces, just about as tough as powder coating yet adhears better and can be refinished. Also FYI to people who said powdercoat... Most heavy industry that designes for long life (GE locomotives for example) only use powdercoat for interior items. All chasis and underbody items are painted. If you get a stone chip in your powdercoat, corrosion can build up under the surrounding coat. Quality paint is much more durable.
Ahhhh, a question the Paper Pushers will allow me to answer!
One of the trial for the brace addressed this very issue there is a workaround for exhaust clearance.Leave a comment:

gold cadmium plate them... No corrosion ever
Looks like you used the steerig rack mounts for the front mounts. They gonna be able to take the stress? Very interested in the outcome of this. Chasis strength is always a plus.

Do you see any possible clearance issues with people who have long tube headers, or different exhaust setups?Leave a comment:

If the price is around that of the e36 x-brace that would be sweet. As you can add an e36 x-brace to an e30, but you loose a good bit of ground clearance. I had on on my e30, but took it off due to the low height. But I've been thinking of getting another one to put on at the track and take off at the end of the day.Leave a comment:
