    Couldn't agree more.

I love my Scorpion, and when I get some headers, it'll really sound mean!

Overall, I'd recommend the Scorpion exhaust. Look and sound is excellent, and it looks like it will last a while, but it took a few readjustments to get it to fit right. It's a tight fit, so it took some readjustments where it hooks up to the cat to get the muffler to not be pressing against part of the unibody(which caused rattling). Also, I think the muffler strap/hanger design sucks. Other than that it's good, for $400 I don't think it'd be worth spending more on something else.

As for a soundclip, forward in this video until they show the grey touring. That car has a Scorpion exhaust.

Exactly. Probably the only aspect of the M42 I dislike is how it ordinarily sounds with aftermarket exhaust.

Actually, my friend's 318ti with custom exhaust and Magnaflow sounds amazing...but he also has a 2.1L Metric Mechanic M44 ;)

    I have the Scorpion!

    Its a great muffler IMO.

It rumbles nicely at idle and while driving around town, but when you go WOT, it screams like it should!

It is a great piece if that is what you are looking for, and at a great pirce!

The fitment was just fine. They fixed the fitment issues that they used to have (they were accidentally sending the US the euro-spec cat-back).

I thoroughly enjoy the sound that comes out of the muffler, now that it has broken in alot more. It was very quiet at first, but soon got a bit louder and sounds terrific!

Here is the video I took right after putting it on: (Granted, this is a pretty crappy camera, so don't mind it)

OP: I have a custom magnaflow setup that is great and was a lot cheaper than most of the catbacks and sounds great. I don't know how difficult this would be with the factory dual piping though.

I just installed one too. They are/were on sale at BavAuto.
It sounds grest so far but I've only put about 20 miles so it might not be "broken in" yet.
I'll try and get a sound clip when I have more time.

    Here are some pics though.
