as far as "best" goes, it depends on what you are looking for from an exhaust. Performance wise there isn't much to be gained, certainly not within questionable value of "bang for your buck" but picking up a pony or two isn't why most people want the exhaust. If you want to change the exhaust note, then go aftermarket. I like the way mine sounds stock, I drive with my window down at all times and love the sound of even an eta winding out. And when I want to get loud it revs plenty loud as is. Any new exhaust will open up a bit over time. I hated the new exhaust on my old truck, until about 6 months down the line, and now it sounds smooth and open. As far as picking a sound goes, search youtube for sound clips or there may be a thread on here, or at least some people who love their exhaust note and want to share it with you. You may be able to get the sound you are looking for without even going full catback, just getting a different muffler, all just depends on what you're looking to get form the exhaust change.

IE catback + catco high flow cat sounds amazing. it can be kinda loud but it sounds great. the IE catback alone is pretty quiet. you can get it off of ebay for like $300 shipped. it weighs 13lbs lighter than stock.

Wanting to get a new Exhaust say from cat back. Not sure which direction to go. aftermarket or stock. I want it to have that nice sounding german sports car sound. not too loud though. Anybody have any suggestions. i hear alot about stock is best as well as aftermarket is best. kind of confused. Thanks
