I have a set of these. Mine are 16's and I got them with newish 205/55 Continental's. I bought the set for ~$250 and sold the tires for $200. I didnt know that they were so valuable ($500-800). Looks like I need to sell mine... -

this is how my Type C sits on my 91 318is on eibach drop The Chrome strips came with the car and have been sold...
If you are interested in selling ill buy rims only. PM is so.Leave a comment:

LOL.. I picked up a black 2dr 89 325i for $500 cause the guy thought the auto tranny was blown. Turns out the diff ran dry and blew up instead. Other than the cloth interior it's a nice buy.
Here's the part that will kill you scabbzzz.. I picked it up in Smyrna, TN through Craigslist.Leave a comment:

Yup, Borbet C. FYI, the wheels have been discontinued by Borbet and finding new ones for replacements is actually pretty hard....been trying for 6 months now.Leave a comment:

17"s are fine. Everyone likes 16"ers but the tire selection is crap. For good selection you need 15" or 17". You can find a buyer. If you were local and this was a few months ago, I'd probably consider them. I bet the offset is in the territory of 35. List them in your local craigslist for hondas/Leave a comment:

I paid 800 shipped for 16inch Type C's with brand new BF Goodrich Geforce sports 205/50/16.Leave a comment:

Cool... The low end of the value spectrum is still more than I paid for the car. I'm not a big fan of 17 inch wheels on e30s either I think 16 inch wheels are the max size I would go with only IF the car was lowered. Otherwise they tend to make the car look Donkish.
These wheels came from a 89 325i I just snatched up to restore, right now with stock suspension they look ridiculous.Leave a comment:

no idea, but srsly....meshy wheels look better on e30s. Like what is picture in above person's sig. ^Leave a comment:

Depening on the condition of all 4 wheels, curb rash, nicks, condition of clearcoat, etc, and assuming that all 4 are perfectly round with no bends or anything, I'd say in the realm of $500-$800. Type C's are pretty common, and being that they're not one of the dished-models of Borbets, they're not terribly sought after, but they're still a great looking wheel. Most people will agree that 17's are a bit too big for E30s though (unless you've got a BBK), so you might have a harder time selling them, unless you sell them for cheap.Leave a comment:

Need help identifying some Borbet wheels..
I just rolled a new project car into the driveway and it has these Borbet 17 wheels with 225/45/17 tires on them. Does anyone know which Borbet wheels these are and what they usually sell for?
