Continuing this thread is moot .
If the 5-eries is labeled as a "1991" then it has the M50NV and the tranny won't work without a few mods and a bunch of worthless hassle .
Friggin M20's with manuals are all over the yards .Leave a comment:

It's really not that bad. George graves looked up my email and found it linked to a beastiality site. Then everybody got on me calling me a goat fucker and what not. Really the whole reason I was on the site was to gross people out when ever i was around some drunk friends and had internet access..
So more about the tranny. wich flywheel clutch and pressure plate do I use?Leave a comment:

Dude come on. IIRC you admitted it was you. It would be alot easier for you if you just manned up instead of trying to hide shit.Leave a comment:

Yeah, I just looked it up. If the build date is after August 1990, it has the M50.Leave a comment:

I think post-August '90 build date 525i's had the M50, and then the M50TU for MY93. They came with either the Getrag S5D 250G or the Getrag S5D 310Z. Not sure about E30 fitment though, not that it matters if you are using a M20.Leave a comment:
