Considering bmw inspired tattoo, Calling out all artist
I have a very skateboarding specific tattoo on my arm. I don't regret it at all. It reminds me of how much fun I had in my youth. When people ask, I'm not embarrassed or put out to explain the reasons behind it. If you are serious about it, why not get a specific engine or body piece tattooed on your body, say an intake manifold, or the bmw shift pattern.
I'm third generation BMW and i could never get any brand oriented tattoo. I would like a mosaic of race tacks designed in to a sleeve. I'd have to through in my german and irish family crest somewhere as well.

Get a complete, full scale print of the S38 on your back...
or BAN.
then part him out.
in all seriousness, why dont you get a bmw emblem overlayed on the german flag if you are wanting both of those together. or you could get the tear-away look with the german flag and the bmw emblem hidden underneath your shredded skin.

Reason: in all seriousness
Step 1: Get some colored sharpies.
Step 2: Have your friend draw something similar to what you want.
Step 3: Look in mirror.
Step 4: See how bad of an idea this is.
Step 5: Paypal me some money for saying your leg.
