So when I was waxing my car it was like the paint wouldn't absorb the wax or something?

What soap did you use to wash it? Also did you clay the car?

You can get yellow fogs out of the junkyard that will install easily in your sealed beam housings if you're on a budget.

Is there something I should know/do in order to make it work better? I realize its not going to turn out like my 07' motorcyle or 03' cars wax jobs, but I would like to make it the best it can be.

I painted the UGLY white side grilles as well as the kidney grill black and now they looked 10000 times better. I also gave it a wash and attempted to wax it but it 10:00 at night sooo it was getting kinda annoying. The wax made it look better but I think because the paint is so bad it doesn't take as well as it should.







I also have some shocks (only two are for the E30, I still need the other 2 for my car) but need springs before I can mount them.

Looks like the PO took some time to clean things up a bit. Overall, not bad at all-it looks very clean. I see you have a Nascar approved cooling hose on the drivers side! lol

Your engine compartment is awesome. It looks like all the little stuff that gets lost is still there.
Looks to be a good deal on the bumper,from what I can see in the pic. Did you get the shocks as well?

Shocks for the bumper? I'm a total E30 newb, I didn't get those. The guy was on meth and I wanted to get away from him asap. He has a brand new dash and guage cluster and all that stuff too that I wanted (asking $140? good price) .

I just got back from taking it for a quick cruise. I LOVE IT!!! I can only imagine how fun the 325i must be.

Time for a pressure wash.

Pressure wash what? The engine? No way. The car I'll pressure wash though. I've never thought it a good idea to pressure wash an engine.
