    Yup, the ideal E38 would be an anthracite on black 740i sport (with Style 37's/Parallels). Make it a MY2000 so it has the updated headlamps, but retains the amber corners. Then, find a way to shoehorn a 420G 6-speed in there. :D

    Anyways, about the one you're considering. Just double, triple, quadruple-check the cooling system so it doesn't grenade itself on you when you're driving it home. The mileage sounds very good for a 2000, and those M62's are very strong, robust motors. There are probably a few suspension parts that you will want to look at, although I am unsure which exactly they are.

    The main Achilles Heel with the M62 are the cooling components (the radiator, the water pump, a variety of plastic lines to and fro, etc. etc.) Other than that, they are very well built cars.
