I have to sit closer when i autocross. But normally i set about 3 clicks off the last setting. And i'm 6'1".

Any who loose the FF nahz activation switch and all motorsport decals like the one on the seat belt.

6'3", in a 2 door I can do half way forward to all the way back (all the way back I actually an pretty comfy). In a 4 door, if the seat isn't all the way back, (sports seat mind you) my knees hit every possible thing in front of them. Oh and nice car. Xept the wheels. Great price.

Nobody noticed the E30 M3 front seats?

The car looks pretty solid, get some basketweaves or Ronal LS' and lose the purple tint.

I actually wish my seat could go further up... I'm 5'10, and my palms barely touch the top of the steering wheel.

Nice find, I don't find the rim design to be terrible either.. just look too big on the car.

i used to sit 1 notch from the very back. then i learned a thing or two about driving position and slowly started moving forward, and now i feel too far away if i am not all the way forward. people tell me i look weird, but it just feels right. maybe my seat doesnt move as far forward as some do?
I find my self creeping forward on spirited trips and moving back the longer the trip takes.

ok, i am 6'1" and there is no way in hell I'd fit there. My knees would destroy the dash.

    good choice.
Go to m42club.com for a list of all the touchy areas with this motor.
Plan on setting aside money to redo the cooling system now before you end up with an overheat and change the timing chain items. It's cheap insurance...

    And ditch the wheels. ;)
