I'm 6'2 and sit with my seat all the way forward. My knees dont hit anything and i can turn the steering wheel much easier than i would be able to sitting further back. the shift knob is in the perfect place, too. you should try it sometime.

btw, OP..is that an e36 steering wheel..? im curious because i know its a late e30..they have the same wheel..but the bmw emblem is colored in.

P/S leak... yea, the rack seals leak on these, if not the lines. If its the lines, replace them. If its the rack, try some Lucas PS Stop-Leak, it helps... or a new rack haha...
