I would see if he can run down any cool pamphlets from the e30 era. I have a couple cool ACS booklets I had a friend get for me when she was coming to visit. These take no space and are cool things to have. I think I bought this off ebay.de for <$20 and had it shipped to her.

Have him find as many euro cloth seats as he can and strip the fabric, then ship them here.

Any color houndstooth or plaid would be winners in my book.

At the very least, have him send me a grey left arm bolster from black/grey houndstooth seats.

Let me know if he comes across a set of front sports seats in blue houndstooth.

Some euro basketweaves, any 4-lug BBS wheels, headlamp washers, M-Technic bits and pieces, smilies, etc. would all be good things to pick up. There are plenty of people on here willing to pay good money for euro stuff.

Not-so ninja edit: If he sees any parter E30 tourings, tell him to pick up a non-rusty hatch or two. The handful of E30iT's that I have seen in North America have rusty hatches. Don't ask me why, but it's a good chance to make some money.
