Build date 10/90 and later have rear valence and plastic bumpers. Don't worry about the power top. They are not very reliable and can easily be changed to manual.

NICE! Easy to swap to manual? Definitely would do that first. Can you elaborate?

So it sounds like I need a 10/90 or later build date so I get small bumpers and rear lower valence. Essentially I need to look for 91-93 model years. Find a 5 speed. Top condition doesn't matter as I replace and then get to work on maintenance and pimp it out!

According to the window sticker from my 87 vert:
The LSD was standard
Heated Seats is an option
14" basket weaves are standard

There was no sport option on the vert.

This would be very useful information. I myself, didn't know they came fitted with power tops.

Although I detailed an e30 vert today that had heated seats and they were very nice, during the torential downpour that is normal seattle weather.

What model year/build date gets small bumpers?

What model year/build date power top? Manual top?

What model year/build date gets sport seats? Heated Seats?

What model year/build date gets US Elliposids? 88/89 like coupe?

LSD is optional on ALL verts?

Basketweaves standard? Bottlecaps standard? Basketweaves = sport package? LSD then?
