318 will work, but its really hard. i would say start out with a 325i or 325e. you can learn to drift in those.

im sayin maybe 2 times a year or so im not really gonna take drifting anything serious but wats the feel of the 318 i heard its a really fun an denjoyable car... ive got enuff money for a good clean e30 thats unraped so i dont have to scronge around for the best deal... even though i try anyway ahha

thanks u for an honest answer!! i dont have any track experience:( but i willl try to get all track time i can get cuz i have little interest in drift i was just curious if a 318 would work for it...

for whoever said wrap ur car around a tree i dont believe in driving fast on canyon roads or anyhting i live a mile away from one ive watched a couple people crash in it.. thats not a figure of speech ive actually seen people crash a couple times haha i dont wanna go thru the experience of losing a car becausei was bein a dumbass

i am going to try to help you op:

get 325i. stay away from an Eta!!! slow as shit , i can't even get my wheels to spin with my old eta. get a 325i some coilvers , some track tires and call it a day . Make sure you have a LSD . if you are lucky enough get a 325is best of both .

i hope this healps. also please don't try doing somthing stupid in the streets. practise before you start drifting.

I'm 16 as well. Although I've never driven a 318 I would say get a 325. You might as well start with a little power, especially if you want to drift :rofl: And an M20 isn't all that powerful and shouldn't get you into any trouble.

e30s are gay anyway, you should get an JDM SKYLINE R32 with BOV. Get a four door one and get some chromies for the hommies etc. Then you can go roll around town and think you are a pro drifta! dont forget to paint the bonnet black, it makes them go faster
